Do
you recognize this face? Ethan was one of the highlights of this
summer's dance movie Center
Stage -- you'll recall that he was the gutsy choreographer
that, among other things, created a role for his motorcycle on the
stage.
Well we've got news for you. The bike is real (one of his major
loves) and he far more charming than the character he played on
the big screen.
Finis caught up with Ethan after class and they had tons to
talk about. Come learn how Ethan got started in dance, what the
movie filming was like, what else he's been up to, and check out a
photo gallery.

Maybe you know this already, but professional dancers are often
prohibited from doing risky things such as riding motorcycles --
as a condition of employment. It is a fairly understandable
restriction when you consider that dance companies have a lot
riding on the careers and availability of their top dancers.
Motorcycles are dangerous to the rider, especially considering
that the average SUV weighs 10 times as much and the owner of the
SUV is probably on a cell phone. Actually it is the SUV that is
dangerous, but the bike will almost always lose -- thus the risk
is greater.
If you are lucky enough to land a pro job, we can't recommend
that you challenge the conditions of your employment without
carefully considering the consequences.
Ethan chose a road less traveled when he started dance classes.
Taking risks is part of what he does and who he is, thus we have
created this entire web presentation around his Harley.
